Open GLB, glTF, OBJ, FBX, STL, PLY, USDZ and 3MF files directly in your browser. Rotate, zoom, switch lighting presets, and inspect your model in original, clay, or wireframe modes — then export, render, or repair it with Text3D.ai when you’re ready.
Please do not leave this page. Your download will start automatically when the file is ready.
ExportMost online viewers stop after opening a file. The Text3D.ai Free 3D Viewer lets you inspect a model with studio-grade controls first, then move naturally into export, AI render, preview video, mesh repair, remeshing, volume calculation, segmentation, or texture baking.
Open common 3D files online in seconds — no Blender, Maya, CAD suites, plugins, or desktop viewers to install. Just drag, drop, and inspect.
Six lighting presets plus original, white clay, gray clay, and wireframe materials reveal topology, surface quality, and texture issues at a glance.
GLB, glTF, OBJ, FBX, STL, PLY, USDZ, and 3MF all open in the same place — with format-specific export and workflow options shown automatically.
One click takes you from inspection to AI render images, preview videos, repair, remeshing, volume calculation, segmentation, baking, or export.
Open every common 3D file format in one browser-based viewer. Need format-specific guidance? Each card links to a dedicated free viewer page for that format.
Upload your model, inspect it in the browser, and continue only when you need export, render, repair, or other 3D workflows.
Drag and drop or click to upload a GLB, glTF, OBJ, FBX, STL, PLY, USDZ, or 3MF file up to 50MB. The format is detected automatically — no dropdown required.
Rotate, zoom, and reset the camera. Switch between six lighting presets and original, white clay, gray clay, or wireframe materials to verify the model is production-ready.
When ready, export to another format, or sign in to run AI render, preview video, mesh repair, remeshing, volume calculation, segmentation, or texture baking.
Whether you’re checking a client deliverable, validating an STL before printing, or reviewing AI-generated assets, the viewer works anywhere a browser does.
Open FBX, OBJ, and GLB assets without launching a DCC tool. Check wireframes, materials, and scale before importing into Unity, Unreal, Blender, or Godot.
Validate STL and 3MF geometry before slicing. Spot holes, flipped normals, and thin walls, then jump straight into repair and volume calculation.
Preview USDZ and GLB product models exactly as customers will see them in AR Quick Look and web 3D viewers — before they go live on your store.
Inspect AI-generated models from Text3D.ai or any generator — verify topology and textures, then re-texture, remesh, render, or export in one workspace.
Start by opening your 3D file online for free. Once the model is on screen, Text3D.ai puts the next steps one click away: AI render images, 3D preview videos, mesh repair, remeshing, volume calculation, texture generation, segmentation, baking, and multi-format export.
Use it as a simple file opener, or continue into a full AI 3D workspace when your project needs more than a preview. Either way, your free preview stays in your browser.
After viewing your file, create brand-new 3D models from text, images, or multiple reference views with Text3D.ai — or convert what you already have.
Everything you need to know about opening, previewing, converting, and working with 3D files online.
No. You can upload and preview 3D files for free without login or signup. A free Text3D.ai account is only required when you choose actions in the right panel such as export, AI 3D render, preview video, repair, remeshing, texture generation, segmentation, texture baking, or volume calculation.
The Text3D.ai free 3D viewer supports GLB, glTF, OBJ, FBX, STL, PLY, USDZ and 3MF files up to a suggested 50MB, depending on browser compatibility and the file structure.
For the free preview, your file is handled inside your browser whenever possible. Your model is only uploaded for processing when you sign in and choose a Pro workflow such as export conversion, AI render, repair, remeshing, or volume calculation.
Yes, but OBJ materials usually require a separate MTL file and texture images, so a standalone OBJ may preview without color. For the best browser experience, GLB is usually easier because geometry, materials and textures are embedded in one file.
Yes. STL is ideal for checking 3D printing geometry, although STL files do not include textures or materials. After previewing, you can continue to mesh repair, volume calculation, remeshing, or export workflows.
Yes. The Pro Export panel lists the formats available for your uploaded file — GLB, OBJ, STL, PLY, FBX, USDZ and 3MF where supported. The available options update automatically based on the source format of your file.
Yes. After previewing supported formats such as GLB, OBJ, FBX, STL or PLY, you can sign in and use Text3D.ai Pro workflows to generate studio-quality AI render images or 3D preview videos.
The free viewer opens existing 3D files that you already have. Text3D.ai’s AI tools create brand-new 3D models from text prompts, single images, or multiple reference views, which you can then preview, export and license.
